I’m an Associate Professor of Psychology and core faculty in the Clinical Psychology PhD Program at Howard University. I have held academic appointments at Wheaton College, Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons, and the HIV Center of Clinical and Behavioral Studies. All these pursuits converge on my interest in how persons and communities interact in the context of poverty to influence the mental and physical well-being of persons living with HIV in US cities and the Global South. I’m also a District of Columbia licensed psychologist (PSY1001192) who conducts psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children and adults who recently immigrated to the US.
